It may be said that teen girls like to shop. But for Angela, a trip to the West Edmonton Mall was so much more than just buying up the latest fashions. Angela’s wish to visit the West Edmonton Mall was strategic! With countless stores, restaurants, activities and attractions, Angela’s adventure to the Mall was more than just your everyday shopping adventure...

Upon arrival at West Edmonton Mall, Angela met with Eva Chiag, the Assistant to the Executive Director of the Mall, who set up some amazing activities. Eva surprised Angela with one of the highlights of her trip - an opportunity to train and swim with the sea lions! Additionally, Eva made sure that Angela experienced an 18^th birthday that she would never forget, surprising her with a dinner at one of the restaurants in the mall that was complete with a decadent, chocolate caramel cake, and a serenade of “Happy Birthday.”

The fun didn’t stop there. Angela and her family spent three fun-filled days experiencing all of the shopping that the West Edmonton Mall has to offer, also taking in some of the shows, the Science Museum and the Water Park. To cap off the trip, the pilot of their WestJet flight to Toronto invited Angela and her family up for a tour of the cockpit, making their first flying experience a pretty amazing one!

As they were transported back from the airport in the luxury of a limousine, Angela and her family were able to sit back, relax and reflect on Angela’s wish to visit the West Edmonton Mall, which turned out to be the adventure of a lifetime!
