Like most six-year-old girls, Rachel has lots of favourites – the colour purple, corn on the cob, dill pickle chips and of course, Hannah Montana. She keeps herself busy playing soccer, reading, enjoying art and taking care of her pets – a dog and a fish. Rachel’s wish was to go to Walt Disney World^® Resort in Orlando, Florida to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Rachel’s family tells us, “Disney was every bit of what Rachel dreamed it could be and 1000 times more!!!!  We put a lot of miles on, walking and experiencing all the wonderful things we could see and do in the Disney Parks.  At the end of each day we would all bubble over with chat about all the fun we had and what our favourite part of the day was!”

Her family’s stay at Give Kids The World Village was also a wish come true. Rachel’s mom took over 500 pictures of their wish trip together. Rachel proudly shows and explains every picture, remembering all the details. When asked for their favourite part of the trip, Rachel’s parents and brother each have a different story to tell, but all have a common memory of a perfect wish trip enjoyed by everyone.  Rachel’s family says, “Thank you to everyone that helped make Rachel’s wish come true and such a memorable trip for our family too!"
