Sadly, Marie Roberts passed away earlier this year.  In lieu of flowers, her family requested memorial donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation^®. Over $1200 has been generously donated in memory of Marie, including a special $500 memorial gift from Marie's former employer and long-time Make-A-Wish^® supporter Presstran Industries.

Marie Roberts' family asked us to share this thank-you letter on our website:

"We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Marie's family, the Hoffmans, are deeply grateful to those who have donated in Marie's name, also known as Maria.

Marie had no children of her own, but Marie believed in her heart that all children, especially sick children, should never feel the pain and suffering of life around them.  Marie believed that ALL children should always have the right to smile and laugh, and forget their pain and experience - even just for one day outside their hospital bed.  Marie went out of her way, at her expense, for family and friends' children on special holidays, all just to see children having fun.  

Marie also had a special place in her heart for her funny granny Mae who made Marie smile and laugh.
