We are seeking climbers in our region to raise funds for and
represent the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southwestern Ontario
on the Summit for Wishes!
Run for wishes! Join us for a 5K Trail Run in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southwestern Ontario at Springwater Park in
Aylmer, starting at 10 a.m. on September 18th! To learn more and register for this donor event, visit www.makeawish.ca/springwater.
Join us on September 17th at 7 p.m. at the Greek Canadian Community
Centre in London for a Lobster Dinner in support of the Make-A-Wish
Foundation® of Southwestern Ontario!
Thank you to Make-A-Wish® volunteer and donor Bob Kayser who raised over $17,000 in pledges, coloured his hair blue and then shaved his head to
help wishes come true!
Sadly, Marie Roberts passed away earlier this year. In lieu of
flowers, her family requested memorial donations to the Make-A-Wish
Foundation®. Over $1200 has been generously
donated in memory of Marie, including a special $500 memorial gift from
Marie's former employer and long-time Make-A-Wish® supporter Presstran Industries.
Thanks to the generous support of Southwood Graphics, Avery Graphics,
Lamar Advertising and NAL Insurance, a city bus wrapped especially for
the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southwestern Ontario will continue to drive on various routes throughout London!
Canada Revenue Agency has launched a donor website called Giving to charity: Information for donors.
Neighbourhood Watch has advised that the London Police Service is currently investigating a number of complaints in relation to door to door solicitors for charities.
As a matter of policy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® does not participate in telemarketing or door to door fund-raising campaigns.
